GridWorks will partner with COIC to provide non-emergent medical transportation in Central Oregon
As part of this expansion, GridWorks will be partnering closely with the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC) in the Central Oregon region to provide updated call center technology and improved scheduling and dispatch capabilities.
GridWorks is a mission-driven social enterprise focused on making non-emergency medical transportation safer and more reliable. GridWorks is the first non-emergency medical transportation brokerage in Oregon to introduce a mobile app with GPS tracking available to all of its drivers. In addition, GridWorks has pioneered new options, including an innovative Travel Funds program that provides a pre-loaded debit card to Oregon Health Plan recipients who are able to drive themselves to appointments but who need assistance with gas money. These services have enabled GridWorks to provide improved same-day dispatch capabilities and to expand access to the non-emergency transportation benefit while maintaining cost-effective operations.
